A Nostalgic Engagement Photoshoot in an Ancestral Home

Martin and Aya chose a historic and meaningful venue for their engagement shoot. The Manuel Hofileña Ancestral House in Silay City, Negros Occidental operates as a museum these days, paying tribute to the rich history and culture of Silay City. It also happens to be the ancestral home of Aya’s family, so when this couple set themselves up amid the books, old vinyl records, dramatic wooden staircases, typewriters, and paintings, they were surrounded by their family’s history. In these photos by EP Studios, natural soft lighting filtering in through the windows and the tones of the furniture and vintage paraphernalia gave the shoot a nostalgic feel. Travel back in time as you scroll through these amazing photographs.
