Just a few weeks back, the Bride and Breakfast team visited one of the most beautiful places outside the Philippines–Bali, Indonesia. There we found this stunning honeymoon and wedding venue called The Mulia. Our three-day stay was not enough to take in the beauty of the place, but let us give you a rundown of what exactly got us to fall in love with this wedding venue.

One word: interiors. They were absolutely gorgeous! Step into the hotel, and you’ll be overwhelmed with the grandness of the lobby. Walk into any restaurant, hallway, spa, or lounge area, and you’ll be staring in awe at the beautiful decor, art pieces, accents, and furniture. Every area has its own unique look and vibe, so trust us when we say that you WILL NOT be able to stop taking photos!

Whether you’re feeling a garden wedding, a beach wedding, a ballroom wedding, a poolside wedding, or an open pavilion wedding, The Mulia has it all! This 30-hectare venue is big enough to provide you with a variety of options for your big day, including a chapel! The Mulia has three chapels that you can choose from, and they’re just as gorgeous as the rest of the hotel. When planning your destination wedding, you’ll always want to check if the area has comfortable accommodations with great amenities and activities for your guests. The Mulia holds almost a thousand(!) rooms in the hotel, so your guests will surely not have a problem booking a place for your wedding. (They can even take a vacation at the same time!) Trust us, they will have you to thank for giving them this opportunity!

As for the amenities and activities, The Mulia has a gym (with yoga classes you and your guests can sign up for) and a spa (which is a guest favorite BTW) with saunas and ice rooms that’ll leave you feeling fresher than ever.And if you’re looking for a good drink and a place to socialize, head on over to the beach club on a Wednesday, where they throw one of the coolest pool parties in the area!

Even though the place may be huge, you’ll always find someone to help you with directions, food orders, or any kind of service. We experienced it ourselves when just a few minutes after laying on the day bed by the beach, someone from the hotel approached us with a towel. If you get this type of attention and service all around the place, making you feel extra comfortable to move around and relax, then you won’t have to worry about anything!

What are two key points when looking for a place to say out of your home? Excellent food and an extra comfortable place to sleep in. If you’re thinking about having your honeymoon here, allow us to paint you a picture. A romantic dinner by the pier, just you and your hubby sharing some alone time over a spectacular meal by the water. Doesn’t that sound so romantic? Well, The Mulia can help make this dream come true.

Anyone staying at the hotel is sure to have a good dining experience with the options available in the hotel. You can choose from a wide array of choices in their international buffets at The Cafe, have high tea at The Bar, munch on delicious desserts or cold cuts at The Mulia Deli, or lounge around the pool while sipping on cocktails from the pool bar.

The rooms on the other hand, were just as inviting as any other spot in the hotel. As much as we wanted to explore the whole property, the rooms were just too relaxing, we didn’t want to leave! Plus points if you get the rooms overlooking the pool or the beach–the view is just amazing!

P.S. – The welcome macarons were an added bonus!

It’s safe to say that we’re in LOVE with The Mulia Bali. The photos alone were inviting, but actually being there and getting the overall experience of the hotel made us admire it at a whole new level. It’s easy for a place to be beautiful, but when every single detail is worth experiencing again, worth taking a second look at, and leaves you wanting more, you know it’s special.
