Destined I Do’s

Red is a sunset
Blazing and bright.
Red is feeling brave
With all your might.
Red is a sunburn
A spot on your nose.
Sometimes red, is a red red rose.
Red squiggles out when you cut your hand.
Red is a brick
And the sounds of a band.
Red is hotness
You get inside
When you’re embarrassed
And want to hide.
Fire-cracker, fire-engine
Fire-flicker red–
And when you’re angry
Red runs through your head.

Red is an Indian
A Valentine heart,
The trimmings on
A circus cart.
Red is a lipstick
Red is a shout
Red is a signal
That says, “Watch out!”
Red is a great big
Rubber ball.
Red is the giant-est
Colour of all.
Red is a show-off,
No doubt about it–
But can you imagine
Living without it?

Poem: What is Red?

You might be wondering why I started out with that poem. Yes, the color RED! It’s amazing, it’s my favorite M&M color, and most of all it made Jerico and Mailaine’s wedding super glambulous (glamorous + fabulous)! Red roses, red gowns and two very cute pairs of red slippers! Red is a show off, no doubt about it. But who can imagine living without it?

From the bride:

My husband, Jerico and I met and became friends back in our college days in La Salle; we were together since 2003 and he proposed to me last July 23, 2009. The date of our wedding is actually our 7th year anniversary. We were blessed enough to have made it through this day.

The style of our wedding was classic, simple and elegant, I am an old soul and my husband is the “less is more” type, so our wedding style basically revolved around it. My favorite part is my walk down the aisle with the two most important men in life crying–my dad (I am the youngest and the only girl) and my Jerico!
