At first, I felt like a bridal robe was not something I really needed for my wedding prep. But sometime between the challenging logistics of planning a destination wedding and our third postponement due to Covid, the sparkle of my upcoming wedding began to dim. So right after a lunch in Makati when I vented all the my wedding stress to a friend and purely on a whim, I crossed the street to visit the La Tercera shop. I met Sheena of La Tercera, who was very kind and (without any pressure) showed me all their bridal robes and made suggestions based on what my style was. I tried on a few and fell in love with how romantic they all looked. Suddenly, the wedding sparkle started to come back.
I didn't purchase a bridal robe right away, but Sheena was responsive to my questions as I messaged her to ask about this style or that style. Ultimately, I bought robes for me and for my mother, which arrived to our home in beautifully wrapped keepsake boxes.
On my wedding day, it felt so much more special getting ready for the ceremony while wearing such a gorgeous robe. When I look at the wedding prep photos, I see how much more striking they are thanks to the lace and delicate details of my bridal robe and I love especially the photos of my mom and I "matching." No way would my original plan of plain pajamas would have resulted in such dreamy photos. I am so happy that I went to La Tercera that day!
