Surreal Seaside Soiree

There’s something about the smell of the beach, the sound of the waves, and the sweetness of the sunshine that make beach weddings just too darn amazing! Kyle and Regina’s gorgeous destination wedding is beautiful beyond words. Dainty and adorable, this simple yet endearing affair is enough to make us have Dorothy’s red pumps and click our heels away to Maldives. This is also the first wedding we’re featuring that was captured by the ever so talented team of Mayad Photography. With their signature mark of romantic dreaminess, we’re surely left wanting more.

The Groom and the Gypsy

I am absolutely thrilled that I am seeing more and more unique looks for weddings. I must admit, the possibilities are endless when it comes to one’s big day. And today, we will be enchanted by this boho-gypsy affair. Let me refresh your memory… Harry and Gizelle’s engagement shoot was actually a personal favorite of mine from last year’s posts. And boy, oh boy, did they follow through with such a fun, laid back and oh-so-dreamy wedding. Walk into a world of carefree wandering and fall in love with unassuming details and feminine fancies. Come to think of it,  I noticed that when we have Cuckoo Cloud Concepts and Marlon Capuyan in the same room, something spectacular is bound to happen.

Color-charmed Couple

Think blue skies and yellow sunflowers! A fun engagement shoot usually involves some color play. Take for instance Luis and Eve’s Singapore photo session with Jaja Samaniego. Today it’s gonna be blue and yellow and a whole lot of lovin’!

Have a colorful Thursday folks!

Prints, Patterns, and Pretties

Today’s ravishing and retro fête is definitely highlighting the fun in funky! Bong and Rossy’s wedding is exploding with layers of prints, patterns and pretties. I’d have to say, the retro outfits were perfectly set against the wonderfully styled decor by Heim Interiors in collaboration with Heima Store. I can’t get over how many quirky details this wedding has, from the chevron decals on the car, to suede and sparkling footwear, and that too-gorgeous-that-I-want-to-faint floral cake. I actually might write a novel if I delved into every deet that I like. Thankfully we have such great photos–Paolo Feliciano did a superb job capturing the charmingly candid moments as well as all the colorful elements of this affair.

Romantic Reverie

Pinch me, I must be dreaming! If you think we’re closing the week without a treat, then you’re mistaken! Since we’re already on the topic of dreaming, today’s affair will certainly send us to a happy place. Hanging marshmallows, aqua parasols, sparklers, and trinkets & things are just among the small details that caught our eye. Sigh… a hodgepodge of pretty is all we needed to make us drift into a state of reverie. I loved how Cayo and Sarah’s celebration is all about turning fantasy into reality. Not surprising since even their save-the-date video showed that they’ve always been destined to be dreamers.

From the Bride: Imagination mixed with a little elbow grease. It’s the stuff that dreams are made of. It’s also the glue that put our wedding together. Cayo and I chose “dreams” as the theme for our big day because we wanted it to be a day of play. No one was allowed to be a grown up. Far from an ultra-formal affair, it was more like the biggest “barkada” road trip–disguised as a wedding.

Happy Weekend!
