The Chic and Glamorous in Paris

Honeymoon shoots are starting to gain popularity nowadays. It was a surprise to me when I received an email from Kate, a B&B reader who said she and her hubby were inspired to do a honeymoon shoot upon seeing our very own Japan post nuptial photo session.

Just when you thought a Paris getaway was romantic enough as is, having these gorgeous pictures to look back to when you’re old and gray will definitely bring back more amazing memories. Take note, our pretty little lady here has an eye for styling and came up with their own wardrobe! Loving the chic and glam Kate and Paolo! It’s good to be loved.

I couldn’t resist posting the sweet email I received from Kate:

Hi Janna,

I’m a big follower of Bride and Breakfast. I got a lot of inspiration from your blog while I was planning my wedding.

But more than that… I just wanna THANK YOU BIG TIME for posting your post-nuptial photos–those were gorgeous photos and gave me a bright idea to do a post-nup pictorial too! Like you, we didn’t have any pre-nuptial shoot because we thought it’s too normal but when you posted your Tokyo post-nup photos, me & my fiance (that time) thought–why don’t we do the same during our honeymoon in Paris?!

And so we did… we got in touch with “One & Only Paris Photography”, French & American photographers based in Paris and they did the amazing shoot for us… so I thought it would be great to share the photos with you as a token of our gratitude for inspiring us.

Janna, thanks for inspiring so many brides like me. Doing that post-nup was indeed a fantastic decision we made and we couldn’t have thought of that if it wasn’t for your blog! All the best to you and to Bride and Breakfast!

The Southern Country Charm

When Jojit Dy of  The 3rd Party Wedding Planners called me about a submission, I was very excited. Jojit, who coordinated our wedding, certainly knew the things I liked. I was quite sure that he would send me something pretty and I’m so glad he didn’t disappoint. Carlos and Marichris’ wedding was pure garden vintage goodness meets Southern country charm. With all the decor giving a fun, laid-back and oh-so-cute vibe, I definitely loved everything about this wedding. From shabby-chic entourage dresses to a too-charming-for-words couple to a garden set up to die for, this is definitely inspiration-worthy. Today we travel in time.

      It’s Shakespeare in Love

In this age of creativity and practical budgets, DIY is a bride’s best friend. Loving the details on this crazy artistic affair. Marco and Corinne’s wedding day looked like a scene from a modern and quirky Shakespearean play–now that’s what you call character! Cheers to artists, poets and love.

        Oriental Bliss

It’s every bride’s dream to be able to wear a gorgeous dress on her wedding day. Imagine being able to wear more than one? Adrian and Pansy’s wedding had a beautiful oriental bliss to it, but if you know me well, you’d know that what really made me gush over this wedding was the amazing fact that the bride actually got to wear four (including the one in her gorgeous streets of Hong Kong engagement shoot) of the most breathtaking gowns by the likes of Monique Lhuillier and Vera Wang. Of course Rock Paper Scissors was able to bring it on and capture this affair’s beauty–something to last a lifetime.
