I’m pretty much loving the save-the-date videos I’ve been seeing lately. Here’s one from Ian Cruz Films. Erwin and Pamy’s cute and colorful vid has youthful vibrance written all over it. Now who doesn’t love that right?
I have been dying to show everyone these amazing photos of Cris and Angela. We actually featured their wedding a few months back (Angela wore this gown that was to die for)! Well, their engagement shoot was equally beautiful and breathtaking. This is actually the first time we also get to feature the styling work of Danika of Hello-Rio.com, and I must say I am a fan! I also super loved the make-up that Kaycee Lim did for Angela–I can’t stress how much having a good artist makes a big difference in a shoot! Combine that with the wonderful talent of Cherryblocks, and you get a perfect mix of being stylish, tasteful and looking totally in love.
One thing I totally love is an outdoor photo shoot. There’s just something about the sunlight and a bunch of greenery that make pictures extra romantic. Starkey and May’s hippie engagement shoot is hippie heaven. Honestly, the tricky thing with engagement shoots is really for the couple to connect and be the characters they wear. These two perfectly became the starstruck lovers in this enchanted setting, so yes, we love love love it! This set certainly exuded the surreal vibe that makes it totally a-ok in our book.
There is something about weddings that bring out the best in all of us. I love how I can just get lost in a cloud of whimsical wonderment whenever I chance upon a beautiful wedding such as this. Jairus and Mae’s San Francisco wedding, although miles away from their homeland, has a Philippine wedding stamp all over it. The fun and festive affair was a mix of modern and traditional elements, all glamorous and romantic. So yes, for today, I’ll let the wonderful photos from Pat Dy and video from Mayad speak more about the gorgeousness of this celebration. Enjoy!
I love wedding photography workshops. Why? Because it’s a chance for me to see a great deal of beautiful inspiration! Jeff and Lisa Photography held their Firestarter workshop a couple of weeks ago, and it was a huge success. First they had a real couple, Chips and Fozzy of The Fozzy Book, to be their models (real couples rock!). You will simply be blown away by the drop-dead elegant bouquet from Vatel Manila! Add an exquisite Veluz gown in the mix and I guarantee a jaw-dropping set. These workshops really give the participants a chance to shine–and believe me they did! Amongst the huge bunch of great photos taken by the participants that were sent to me by Lisa, I had to pick a favorite. It was a really tough choice because every single one she sent was wonderfully done! So I gave myself a little slack and chose two (one was just too hard)!
And now we move on to the photos taken by Jeff and Lisa themselves. All this inspiration will mean one thing–a happy happy B&B day!
