Epitome of Elegance

Remember my post on my friend Saying Yes to the Dress? Well today will be more than just that gorgeous Vera. Today is about Miguel and Tisha’s winter wonder wedding in Macau.

I have been looking forward to this wedding for months. Tisha and I would meet up constantly to plan, conceptualize styles and put in some house design talks in between! Unfortunately, two days before my flight out, I had to tell Tisha I was not allowed by the doctor to travel (preggy issues)! BOO.

The show must go on and my friend would definitely walk that aisle with an amazing dress, accompanied by a beautiful entourage, as the love of her life waits to be wed to the woman of his dreams. Tasteful and elegant would be an understatement. 50 years from now, we will still gush over this day.

Really loving Nicole’s jewelry! Each necklace was designed based on the styles of the entourage dress. We got to pick out the stones and they were pure prettiness! Tisha gave the necklaces as gifts to her gal pals–what a cute idea!

    Pretty Meets Phenomenal

Many of you are expecting some good ol’ Fashion Friday today. Well today we adjust our usual schedule for a good cause–a very fashionable couple! How romantic is it to get married on your 100th month together? Talk about beautiful timing!

Speaking of beauty, this is what this wedding is overflowing with. Pat Dy simply did what he does best–amazing editorial-like portraits and inspiring beauty shots (phenomenal job on the post-wedding pictures)! The bride Anielle was elegantly regal in her dramatic gown, and her groom Rapha, a sleek charmer. It’s Friday, we’re in love.

My ultimate favorite photo of the set. Breathtaking.

      Tasteful and Timeless

Everyone wants to be different. As a couple, you want to wow your guests with an amazing set of pre-nup photos, correct? Some go for ultra-makeovers, costumes and all that shebang! But sometimes the best route is really to go for the timeless and classic theme, understated yet can catch the attention of thousands. Rock Paper Scissors shot Dino and Diana’s e-session and it proved to be elegant, enchanting and everything exquisite!

      Amazing Amanpulo Wedding

One beach that many dream of because of its beauty, privacy and luxurious ambience is Amanpulo. Imagine having your wedding here? Oooh-la-la! Amazing right? Well, Edward and Tab had every reason to smile about their big day. A super gorgeous place matched with a beautiful couple, what more can you ask for? Mangored captured wonderfully what this wedding is about–calmness, class, and simple perfection.

      From the bride:

I am Managing Director of Harem Inc., the Philippine franchisee of Strip Manila and Browhaus Manila. Edward works with Western Union and is in remittance. We got together or had our first date when he went to Strip for a Boyzilian (male version of a Brazilian wax) as a prerequisite before going for a movie date (Twilight).

Our style as a couple is very laid back. Since we are both OC we made sure we covered all necessary details. In Amanpulo we made sure guests would have some activities that they could do or making sure our entourage outfits were outfits they could use again.

Our wedding was in the truest sense of the word a Catholic beach wedding (we did not have to get married twice or beforehand). We had communion at the beach. My family’s family friend is Fr. Alberto Rossini, who came from the same home town of my mom in Brescia, Italy (my mom is pure Italian), has the license to administer weddings in places such Amanpulo. He took care of getting dispensation from the Vatican for our wedding.

As a gift to us, Fr. Alberto presented us an apostolic blessing from the Vatican, Pope Benedict recognizing our wedding in Amanpulo. A Catholic beach wedding truly recognized by the Vatican–we were shocked by this.

Ceremony: Amanpulo, Pamalican Island, Palawan / Reception: Amanpulo, beach front and 1Esplanade (Manila reception) / Gown: Monique Lhuillier / Groom’s Attire: Mr. Willy Monleon / Entourage Attire: Sassa Jimenez / Florist: Zenas Pineda and Fiori di M / Photographer: Mangored / Videographer: Threelogy / Coordinator: Bridesmaids & Co. Gia Bernardo / Make-Up Artist and Hair: Denise Go-Ochoa / Cake: Heny Sison and Alex Franco / Caterer: Amanpulo and Cibo di M / Souvenirs: Leather Collection and Sunkissed Manila (Amanpulo guests), and linen spray personalized for the Manila reception guests (the scent smells like the beach as the couple wanted to bring home the smell of Amanpulo and have others enjoy it as well)

        Celebrity Engagement: Oyo and Kristine

It’s always good to have celebrities grace the pages of B&B. And it’s not a big surprise that Nelwin Uy was chosen to photograph the beautiful couple. Oyo and Kristine’s engagement shoot is full of quirky details that reflect their playful and fun personalities. But by now I’ve lost most of your attention. I’m pretty sure that you skipped whatever I wrote and excitedly dove into the pictures! Very understandable. Enjoy this romantic Thursday!
