Kota Kinabalu, I Heart YOU

It’s Monday so I have an excuse to go all out! Besides when it comes to Mayad Studios, it’s hard to wait till tomorrow to show you some AMAZINNNG work. I love, love, love wedding trailers. My only regret about this trailer was it wasn’t mine! This one is exciting, romantic and all passion! Gorgeous couple Soffian and Jeanna rocked this one.

Forget Me Knot

I woke up to a sore throat and was tempted to just sleep in. But when I remembered what was in store for today and I couldn’t wait to get up and get going. As usual, our B&B fave Nelwin Uy sent over some drool-worthy photos that made me feel a whole lot better. For those who love classic elegance this might knock your socks off! With just the enough amount of fabulosity and the sprinkle of historical beauty, we’ve got ourselves a winner. This is our second wedding feature that was set in the oh so beautiful San Francisco City Hall (I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of this place!). Our couple, Edward and Aileen did an amazing job infusing their heritage to this modern meets traditional extravaganza. Simply unforgettable.

Notice the wardrobe change of the couple and their entourage? From traditional barongs and Filipinianas to sleek suits and savvy strapless dresses.

Want some hint of home? Have some yummy lechon (roasted suckling pig)!

Go Green

It’s very typical for the Chinese to have their traditional wedding engagement ceremony called Ting Hun. I’ve never attended one but friends have told me about the practice. It’s always interesting when an element of tradition is incorporated in a couple’s story. But what I find more interesting is that how the couple, Derek and Krystle mixed the traditional practice with hints of modern elements that made the celebration simply a breath of fresh air. Go green!

J Lucas Reyes did an amazing job on the photography too. Fresh fresh fresh!

Loving Krystle’s off-shoulder jewel tone gown.

What a stunning garden-ish set-up!

I Left My Heart in San Francisco

So this is day two of international features. If there was one city I love visiting, it would be San Francisco. I love the weather, I like the place and somehow I grew up with it as a familiar vacay spot of the family. Another reason I can add to that list is that it has so many beautiful places to celebrate one’s wedding. B&B destination of the day? San Francisco City Hall. This place is so drop-dead architecturally beautiful. Thanks to Pat Dy’s magic fingers, all it took was a click to make his vision come to life.

A Passion Concoction

When Alvin of Mayad Studios contacted me regarding this amazing video, I was squealing with delight. I knew I could expect these guys to take me into an entirely new level of gorgeousness. And I guess they also know I am a fan of their international work.

I honestly dont know where to begin. I am simply head over heels with this concoction of pretty + romance + fairy tale (= a very happy me). Watch/read carefully and be inspired by the beauty of the vows, the wonderful ambience and the extravagantly passionate couple who has love written all over their faces. AMAZING!
