Deep red is one of the most amazing colors out there, but truth be told, it is one of the most difficult palettes to execute for a wedding. The perfect hue, the perfect balance, and the perfect amount plays a tremendous role in making sure that despite its bold and strong shade, it still exudes softness, romance, and elegance. It’s rare to chance upon weddings who get this color beautifully right. So imagine us jumping for joy when we received this wedding from the brilliant Therese Jacinto Design, event stylist and florist of Shardul and Stephanie’s romantic red fête. The drop-dead exquisite floral decor and amazing table setting says it all. The discreet fusion of the couple’s Indian and Filipino roots were cleverly placed, resulting to simple chicness. And yes, I am totally swooning over the tasteful hues of burgundy, maroon, and gold. I’ve been familiar with Therese’s work for a couple of years now–she’s a Filipina based in San Francisco, and her taste is nothing short of impeccable! The best thing about her approach is that she tries to really work within a budget. So for our readers in the U.S., you must definitely consider working with this lady!
