Fashion Friday: Vania Romoff Bridal

I can’t breathe! That’s my usual reaction to beautiful things… and well, we all know Vania Romoff creates beautiful things. I am ecstatic that she finally launched a bridal collection this year (been dying for it to come out!), and let’s just say we were not disappointed. Even the flower girl dresses were to die for! Sleek lines, romantic and classic silhouettes, timeless fabrics–these gowns are every elegant bride’s dream come true. Enough talking, it’s time to swoon!

Elegant Charm

If I had just one line to describe these photos from Puy Talde, I’d say “tradition with a twist”. An elegant, bright-colored twist, that is! Andre and Wella decided to have their special day tinted in extreme happiness with matching pops of orange, and the result is just pure loveliness! My personal favorite element in this charming wedding? Wella’s über-chic frock by Vania Romoff! She absolutely looked like a dream!

Sporty Sweethearts

A great recipe for an even greater wedding is actually quite simple. When you find the one, somehow everything just falls right into place and voila, you’ve got a wedding you won’t ever forget! Today’s couple has got it right to perfection. You might recognize them from our Beauty and the Beloved editorial, which we shot in Angelfields Nature Santuary.

From the rustic details to the hints of classic charm, former UAAP Basketball star Kirk Long during his college days, and model/athlete Tata Garcia’s wedding is surely a love fest that will get you into wedding dreamland. With the prettiest blooms and shades that are so fresh and clean, this is one affair that will paint a smile in your face!  J Lucas Reyes did wonders for both these wedding photos as well as the red and blue wedding inspiration that these lovebirds starred in. What a lovely Monday!

7 Reasons To Have A Garden Wedding

Hey there brides to be! Have you figured out the kind of wedding you want? Beach? Indoor? Or how about a garden wedding? Well, in case you are leaning towards having a garden wedding, you’re in the right place!

As much as we love indoor weddings (or any other type of wedding for that matter), we just can’t help but feel a soft spot for garden weddings. After all, Bride and Breakfast was born because of one! So today, I’ve taken the liberty to list down 7 fantastic reasons to take your “I do’s” to the garden!

1. A garden is beautiful as it is. You don’t have to worry so much about wedding decor because a garden is pretty in itself! Take a look at this Tagaytay garden wedding we featured recently. Some chairs, flowers here and there, a simple and understated altar, and you are good to go! [Photo: Air Balloon Project]

2. It can cater to both the ceremony and reception. The long break, wedding guests moving from one place to another, and the chance of getting lost–there’s no need to worry about any of those because a garden wedding can be your one-stop shop! Check out this celebrity wedding to see how it’s done! [Photos: Pat Dy]
