Reel Love

REINVENTION. That’s one word I would always attach to Mayad Studios. It’s so amazing to have wonderful and talented videographers that bring such honor to the Filipino people. Constantly showcasing their skill across the globe, here’s one more wedding video that wowed me (and I’m sure many of you as well). Australia is one of my favorite places to visit and Teck and Anthia’s video is a testament to that. A couple of things to watch out for are:

  1. Great cinematography and plot.
  2. The super adorable chocolate decor during the reception
  3. The sweet and sincere vows of the couple.

Sparkles and Suave

When you mix good modern photography and a couple’s romance the result is spectacular. A regular here at B&B, Metrophoto shares with us another amazing set shot in Chicago. Jose and Diana’s wedding is glittering with pretty. So why not let the photos do the talking.

But before I forget, brides out there wanting this style of photography must definitely check out Metrophoto’s giveaway for 2011! Enjoy!

We haven’t gone vintage in quite a while so today we’ll go all out. Peewee and Camille of The Best-Case Scenario Events certainly know how to be in character! Being part of the wedding industry has challenged them to have a unique engagement shoot, and they certainly did not disappoint! Overflowing with cuteness and charm, this one will take the manic out of our Monday.

DIY Engagement Shoot: Inspiring Ireland

It’s fun to hear from B&B’ers. A couple of days ago, Elda sent me an email. I simply enjoyed the idea of a DIY engagement shoot (this might inspire those on a budget for their big day). It also doesn’t hurt that the location is breathtaking. Having an engagement shoot is not just about producing wonderful pictures but creating fun memories as you go through the process. I remember my own post wedding shoot and all I could think of was how fun it was doing it. So here’s another couple to share about theirs.

My fiance’s hobby is photography and he usually puts his pictures on his blog site. We’ve wanted to try out and make our own engagement photo session before our actual prenup shoot with our photographer, Pat Dy (the first time I saw his pics was actually from your blog too).  Since my fiance and I are both based in Ireland, we decided to show different locations in Ireland  for our shoot. We also decided not to ask any of our friends for help as we wanted to know if we can do it by ourselves. It was quite a challenge to think of locations, concepts, styling, etc. on our own. The tripod was really our best friend during the shoots.

I hope you’ll like it. May these photos inspire you more and in turn inspire other readers like me too.

Happy weekend!

Mexico Medley

Hola amigos and amigas! It’s another beautiful day–meaning another beautiful wedding treat for all you lovelies. We feature our fair share of international weddings our local suppliers do here at Bride and Breakfast for three reasons.

  1. These weddings are just so darn gorgeous that we need to show the world.
  2. For all you folks planning your own big day, you can obviously pick up some wedding ideas and inspirations from them.
  3. Why not celebrate how our local talent actually make waves across the miles?

Ok, enough chatter because Jeff and Olinka’s wedding awaits. Very chic and classy, as well as fun and hip. I love the color scheme of the entourage, the amazing photography, actually, I LOVE EVERYTHING.
