The advantage of having a restored historical home as a wedding venue is that you can easily check off grandiose decor off your list as you let history and architecture speak for itself! Just a few additional details here and there can help highlight the beauty of the location. With that being said, Amiel and Sara definitely aced a vintage yet fun vibe for their wedding, while keeping the decorations to a minimum.
The couple’s preparation and reception venue was held in Palacio de Memoria, a 7-storey post-colonial mansion turned auction house and events place in Parañaque City. A decommissioned passenger plane also sits on the property’s garden, which was repurposed into a party venue. All these old elements certainly made for a unique and interesting backdrop for Amiel and Sara’s wedding. To liven it up without overdoing it, they just had to incorporate bright pink colors as seen in the bridesmaids’ dresses, floral arrangements, and even in the groomsmen’s bowties!
