This Couple Infused Filipiniana Elements into Their Garden Wedding in Australia

This gorgeous garden wedding in Australia is the perfect combination of two cultures–Australian and Filipino. Matt and Jen’s intimate wedding (just 30 guests!) was set in The Gardens Club in Brisbane, but infused with touches of Filipino, as clearly seen in the attire worn by the wedding entourage. The bride’s dress by Haydee Garcia Atelier, bridesmaid dresses by Danie Baron Designs, the barongs from Kultura Filipino, as well as the groom’s and bride’s mothers’ Filipiniana looks were all from the Philippines, while everything else was then sourced locally in Australia–striking just the right balance between this couple’s two different backgrounds. We also love how the neutral and elegant color scheme complement the garden venue and whole aesthetic of the wedding perfectly! Check out this set through the photos of Glass Slipper Photography!

    1. Hi Monica, thanks for your inquiry! We’re sorry, but the suppliers list the couple gave are all that we have. We suggest commenting on the wedding, and hopefully if the bride sees it, she can chime in. You may also try to ask any of the suppliers listed.

      Enjoy planning your wedding!

  1. Hi Monica! I got those bridesmaid robes from Cotton On Australia, but they might be available in the Philippine branches as well?

    1. Hi, may I ask how you matched the shawl to the dress? Did you have the fabric of the shawl already and then tried to find a dress that matched it?
