What are your terms of endearment for each other?

Bebito, Bebita, Mi Amore, Pulgosa

How long have you been together?

Five years

Who liked who first?

I definitely liked Nico first, haha. He didn’t remember meeting me five times until he started liking me

What’s your typical day like?

We get up at 5:00am, Nico boxes 6:00am to 7:00am and me 7:00am to 8:00am, then I prepare us breakfast. Then we both go to work and meet up for dinner at home and watch a TV series or a movie. We’re homebodies.

What do you guys do for a fun date night?

We usually cook dinner together and go to the cinema. Nothing crazy and no late nights. We’re really morning people.

How did you know he/she was “the one”?

It’s annoying when people say this, but you just know. We both have the same values, we love to travel, and are close to our families. It’s easy for us to talk to and understand each other so there’s hardly any confrontation. We respect each other and are both not jealous and also have our own lives. He teaches me new things everyday, I teach him to be patient. He’s more business-minded, and I’m more artsy, so we are constantly learning things from each other. My friends and family get along with him just as his with me. There isn’t much compromising to be done as we both respect one another’s opinions and way of doing things and both don’t want to change a thing in each other. Fine… I wish he cleaned up more, haha!

Most romantic gift you’ve ever given or done for each other?

His proposal was the best. Simple, but took a lot of work. He had all his friends send a video message and all my friends from around the world, some he hasn’t even met,. When I got back from work from a show in the States, I went to my parents house as I thought he was in Bacolod for work, my mum played me the video (which had me crying like a baby) and Nico was in my parents’ garden waiting to propose. I loved that it was simple and in the home I grew up in.

How many kids do you want?

Nico wants four, I want two, a boy and a girl. (Hello! Katawan ko iyan, haha!)

Can you describe your wedding planning experience?

It’s chill. But it stresses me out talking about it, haha. Lets just say thank God I have my parents (fixing things for the church, priest, and papers), and my sister Vanessa who is like my wedding planner. I also have a French wedding planner in France—funny her name is Vanessa as well and she’s from Brittany like us and has a boyfriend named Nico. Haha!

Any tips for couples?

Prepare in advance. A year and a half ahead is good. Especially if you are doing it abroad as logistics get complicated. But don’t fuss over the small details, as you should be happy just having your friends and fam there. The decorations and all are just the icing on the cake.

Describe your partner in three words.

Solenn for Nico: Funny, Attentive, Talkative.

Nico for Solenn: Caring, Hot, Organizer (Freak)

What is something about you guys that people would not expect/know?

I think we’re quite honest about everything quite publicly. No secrets with us. We’re both just very simple and like simple things.

Favorite romantic song.

We’re not really into mushy things haha. We love to listen to Cumbia from Argentina . Songs of Agapornis or Amapola. We sometimes just dance to one song in our apartment when we’re cooking!

What you love most about your partner?

Solenn: I love that even when I’m out of town, he goes to my parents house to have lunch with them on Sundays (out of his own will).

Nico: I love how she makes other people feel, how much she cares about the people around her, especially her family. I love how she is always waiting for me with a smile that can make me forget any problem I might have. I love how she would never pre-judge anyone. I love how she supports me in everything. I love how she plans our future together. I love to know that I am getting married to not only the sexiest but the best person I’ve ever met! Bonus track: I love her ass!
