Top Trends at Paris Haute Couture 2016

Last January 24-28, 2016 we were graced by the presence of stylish and elegant dresses during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Show 2016. A lot of notable designers were able to showcase their amazing creations once again, and we couldn’t help but notice the color trends that popped during the show! Consider this an insider look on your wedding’s possible color palette… or even what colors your wardrobe should have this year!

1. Lilac takes the first spot on our list. It’s not a common color trend that we see during fashion shows, so we were surprised to see it in a lot of collections! This is a soft, cool color that is so pleasing to the eyes–we love how this shade of purple is getting attention!

2. Floral prints were also very prominent during the show, and deservedly so. If there’s something that can liven up a dress, it’s flowers for sure! The patterns add an instant whimsical charm to your whole look!

3. Black is a classy and bold color–a staple for every wardrobe. It’s not a surprise that black is still a very chic choice to wear during grand events. I mean, just look at these gorgeous pieces!

4. Pink is just so dainty and delicate, and its popularity doesn’t wane. There are even some dresses that are close to rose quartz, one of Pantone’s colors of the year. How perfect is that?

5. Green is also another unexpectedly stunning color that showed up. From light shades like mint, to deeper ones like olive green, you can tell it really rocked the show. Owning pretty dresses like these will make your friends green with envy!
