Sunshine Chic

What an amazing coincidence! This is the second wedding we’re featuring here at B&B with a couple named Cat and Carlo (and mind you, the first wedding was also near the water)! Even if both couples share similar names as well as gorgeous looks, today’s wedding is equally unique and beautiful.

Cat and Carlo’s Bellarocca affair is elegant, tasteful and everything exquisite! The bride’s gown is simply gorgeous and I am totally digging the simple and chic bridesmaid dresses. I am sure you’ll find more things to love about this wedding as you browse through the pretty and perfect photos and watch the videos–enjoy!

Here’s a little proposal tidbit for those who love a good love story!

The couple’s love for the beach was one of the many things that brought them closer together. On September 25 of the previous year, Carlo made special arrangements for their trip in St. Regis Resort in Bali. Their arrival was met with an extensive array of activities, but unbeknownst to Cat, Carlo was simply jumpstarting the day with the biggest and most beautiful surprise for his girlfriend of two years.

Upon the couple’s return to their villa, Carlo surprised Cat with a series of books entitled “Guess How Much I Love You” and told her to get ready for an early dinner. At 5:30pm, a driver in a gleaming white tuxedo arrived to fetch the couple. Carlo gave his girlfriend a bouquet of flowers, and on their way to dinner, another surprise came in the form of “I love you eternally” on the sand, written in white rose petals.

Cat was overwhelmed with all the little surprises that Carlo was able to sneak in since she singlehandedly packed their luggage.

A small and welcoming structure surrounded with water and candle-lit steps soon emerged in full view, and it was then that Cat realized what was standing before her–the St. Regis Cloud Nine Chapel. A private dinner for two has been waiting for them, and the romantic evening was set with a pianist playing a rendition of Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are”–Carlo’s song for Cat.

Cat ecstatically entered the chapel. Carlo then pulled her gently aside, eyes welling up as he got down on one knee with a beautiful engagement ring and proposed. As the sun had begun to set, and Cat’s emotions were beyond words, she knew this was the man she wanted to share her life with and tearfully said, “Of course! Of course I’ll marry you.”

    1. I loved this wedding ever since I came across Pat Dy’s photographs of it. And the bride is breathtakingly beautiful. Loved the other Cat and Carlo wedding too! Can i just say I’m biased towards beach weddings, cos I had one myself! 😀

    2. Hi Janna!

I was just wondering if you knew where Cat and Carlo Antonio had their invitations printed? I love the idea and would be happy to have something similar for my beach wedding next year 🙂 and on that note, thank you for all the wedding inspiration! I’m not sure you know what a lifesaver your blog can be in the midst of all the wedding planning.

      Best wishes,
      Christina
