The Rock Star and his Princess

Last week we featured a chic Paris honeymoon shoot from our cute couple Paolo and Kate. Well, well, well, it certainly gets better on this Monday morning because their wedding is also full of adorable details that will make you love their style even more. I for one will always be a sucker for pink weddings. So this just in–sweet and elegant little princess meets her rockin’ hip prince charming… it’s a love story for the hopeless romantic.

Even their wedding video has cuteness written all over it! That chalk board is was a good investment!

From the bride:

We wanted our wedding to be as personal and as heartfelt as it can be. We conveyed it through music and through every possible detail we can put our hands on. From our personalized soundtrack that was played by Da Capo in the church, the 70’s soul music by Mulatto during the reception, Β and the customized design of our props and stationery and the style of our entourage, our guests can really feel that it was Paolo & Kate’s wedding.

Paolo and I are both in the advertising business–Paolo’s with the Creatives and I’m with Planning. So when we started planning the wedding, it was absolutely easy to divide the tasks between us.

For the overall look & feel, we agreed on French spring time colors and dainty details. Paolo, designed our invitation with a graphic rendition of our wedding date “11-02-2011” (11th of Feb 2011) that uniquely formed the heart shape at the middle. He came up with the “chalkboard” concept of our on-site video and picked the song “Hard to Concentrate” by Red Hot Chili Peppers. And since, he’s the musician between the two of us, he was entirely in charge of the music. He chose my bridal march song, “Nothing But Love” by Mr. Big and even directed how it should be sang. The chapel doors opened dramatically when the song reached the chorus, I saw Paolo in tears as I was walking down the aisle, and everyone I can see from my sight was just in tears… it couldn’t have been more perfect than that.
