Vera Wang always manages to find some form of reinvention to the trend of layered fabric manipulation (which by the way she pioneered around three years ago). Just when you think you’ve seen it all, she comes up with a collection that mixes a lot of soft elements with a subtle hint of structure and edge. A modern collection designed to enchant the heart of today’s hopeless romantic. Oh yes, we love Vera forever!
Hello, lovelies! It’s the beginning of another week and let’s start it off with a dose of romance and prettiness. Benjie Tiongco gives us a selection that captures beauty in its best form–natural and unassuming. I love the treatment of the photos wherein there seems to be almost no post treatment, but only lighting that sets off a natural glow. The subjects are positively luminous and the colors vibrant!
Oliver and Rosette’s engagement shoot is a great study in chic simplicity. The styling is basic and it works. I find it so refreshing that it’s not too contrived, and the couple wears clothes that they would actually wear on a regular day–or a formal evening affair.
It’s a wonderful play between white, black, and stripes in this collection. Scroll down and get started with your daily fix of romance and style!
We’re screaming fab in this Fashion Friday feature. Galia Lahav, an Israel-based designer is all about luxurious design and dreamy details. Her aesthetic boasts of exquisite materials and amazing quality that will back it up. I am walking on cloud nine just by looking at these eye candy couture. (Oh, to wear one of these! Sigh…) A rainy morning + a cup of good coffee + to-die-for wedding gowns = an awesome Friday indeed!
Warning: Please remind yourself to breathe as you go through this post. These dresses are so heavenly that if I were to see them in person, I would probably faint. We can’t deny that Elie Saab is absolutely one of those people who’s way up there in our dream designer category right? So go ahead, swoon… cause it’s totally expected!
If you’re thinking about ending the week without our Fashion Friday, you must seriously reconsider. The drop dead divine dresses that you are about to lay your eyes on have enough enchanting elements to set us up for a good ever after. What I particularly love about Jenny Packham is her ability to make an understated-cut dress look lusciously luxurious. Now who wouldn’t feel like a billion bucks in these beauties?
