Dear reader,For almost two years I have been blogging about beautiful weddings and amazing inspirations. 2012 becomes more real as the days of January roll in, and I can't help but feel more and more elated at the promise this whole new year brings.I remember that God placed this desire in my heart to share what inspires me, to help brides by imparting style ideas, to use the talent He has given me to write about the beautiful things and celebrate wonderful relationships. It still seems very surreal when I receive emails from strangers who have been impacted by B&B (yes, every added blog subscriber, Facebook fan and Twitter follower still gives me butterflies in my stomach!), and I definitely still can't believe the idea when people say that Bride and Breakfast has made a mark in the Philippine wedding industry.I say these things not because I want to put B&B on a pedestal but because I want to share how immensely grateful I am. I thank God for blessing the work of my hands daily, I thank the couples and vendors who have graciously allowed me to write about their affairs, and of course I thank you, the ever so faithful follower of the blog. There are so many things that I want to do this year. And hopefully I will be excellent in pursuing all the creative ideas that are brewing in my head. But more than just blogging, I want you to know that I would love to build friendships with all of you, anyway we do have one thing in common--hopeless romantics who are suckers for pretty bridal inspiration. So again, here's to the year ahead! May B&B continue to be part of your daily dose of beauty and inspiration.Hugs and love,A favorite photo shot by Francis Perez during my honeymoon in Japan.

A lot of my best blessings this year is somehow related to this blog. I never thought Bride and Breakfast would grow this much this soon. But of course I have all of you to thank! Our success is all because of God's gracious blessing, amazing weddings, beautiful couples, talented suppliers and our supportive readers who make Bride and Breakfast what it is.When God moved my heart to write, I noticed how pursuing this blog and marriage has so much in common. And the word that comes to mind is COMMITMENT. Commitment to give your best, commitment to share your heart, commitment during good days and bad, commitment to love what you're committed to. And that's what B&B is all about. I write because I'm committed to the passion God has given me and to what this blog stands for: Truth, Beauty and Love. Here's to 2011 as we take our Bride and Breakfast journey with all of you hopeless romantics and lovers of beautiful things. May 2011 be blessed!Hugs and Love,

So once in a while I get to write about things outside weddings. With the growing number of followers of Bride and Breakfast, I am hoping The Nook will be a means for all of you to get to know me a little better.God created all of us for a purpose--some singers, some doctors, some missionaries, some astronauts and yes, some bloggers too! Many of you might be at a crossroads and still figuring out what you wanna do in life. The journey is not always easy. It even took me years to get to this conclusion that I should be blogging. Yes, tears and laughter were definitely in the mix somewhere. But the thing with God is when he calls you to do something, He also equips you to get the job done. Today, I am just beyond amazed with how B&B has evolved. My desire has always been to appreciate Christ's beauty, reflected in all of the wonderful weddings I get to write about. I am also ecstatic knowing how many people the blog has reached and helped. And what's also amazing are the friendships that are built along the way.Hopefully, at the end of this life, His light and truth has been magnified in B&B, and I would be able to hear two sweet words from my master and creator, "Well Done!".This song of Moriah Peters hits the spot!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-p8T7InfHw
