Hello lovelies! Here at Bride and Breakfast we are very fortunate to get overwhelming support from websites like Loverly. This month, a few of our posts have been featured on their roundups and we are very proud to be heralding the best of our local suppliers! The bouquet we have been gushing over in this hawaiian wedding photographed by MangoRed made it to a beach wedding article that gives brides tips about how to incorporate seaside elements without being too cliché. Another photo by Mark Cantalejo from a beautiful California wedding also made the cut in an article that presents different ideas for flower girl bouquets. And of course, there are those magnificent Fashion Friday gowns! An Elie Saab beauty and a Jesus Peiro piece also made appearances in articles about bridal gowns. We love the gentle push towards unconventional bridal gowns wherein we see and embrace color, print, and unique details! Speaking of details, we were also thrilled about the spotlight on bridal gowns with high necklines–whether with intricate lace, almost-invisible soft tulle, or luxurious ruffles, they were all breathtaking (pun intended)!

It’s Friday once again and it’s time to greet the weekend with a fashion post! We’re loving the Christos Bridal Spring 2014 collection on this warm and sunny day. The airiness and lightness of the silhouettes are a breath of fresh air! It’s all about celebrating romance and femininity with the array of soft skirts, dainty embellishments, and intricate lace.

These are a few of the best reasons why it’s more fun to be a girl!

It’s Fashion Friday once again and I am absolutely stoked about this collection we have for you! When attending weddings, we fuss about what to wear so much that we often forget what to carry. Such is the usual scenario in my case! But I’ve learned that a formal handbag is arguably more crucial than finding the perfect pair of shoes–at the very least they get more exposure.

Marchesa comes with a whole collection of wonderfully crafted minaudières that will surely complement any gown and personality. From carved florals, to chandelier-like beading, to art deco detailing, each design shows intricate and excellent craftsmanship. Scanning the collection, I had to catch my breath every time I set my eyes on a new design! There were a couple of basic pieces in crocodile and snakeskin leather that contrasted a very regal, fully beaded, and gilded minaudière. My personal favorite was the peacock feather embellishment on a piece that comes with a chain strap and tassel–très chic!

Whether you’re the MOH or a guest, these handbags would be great showstoppers without upstaging the bride.

We’re screaming fab in this Fashion Friday feature. Galia Lahav, an Israel-based designer is all about luxurious design and dreamy details. Her aesthetic boasts of exquisite materials and amazing quality that will back it up. I am walking on cloud nine just by looking at these eye candy couture. (Oh, to wear one of these! Sigh…) A rainy morning + a cup of good coffee + to-die-for wedding gowns = an awesome Friday indeed!

I’m such a sucker for embellishments. Show me an intricate pattern of crystals, delicately cut lace, or a fully-beaded layered skirt and I just fall into a trance. With breathtakingly beautiful details, it’s inevitable! That said, no one gets me into such flights of couture high as Michael Cinco. He is indeed the master of extravagant embellishments worked in with such excellent craftsmanship. He stayed true to his aesthetic in this collection, serving a very generous helping of appliqués, beads, crystals, and layers upon layers of soft tulle. Piled on beautifully cut necklines and silhouettes, it is fashion buffet at its finest! Remember to exhale as you go along, as you will surely catch your breath each photo of the way.

Marchesa’s 2013 Bridal Collection proves why we have to have Fashion Friday here at Bride and Breakfast. It’s a whimsical collection for the modern bride, and it’s a crime not to share it to the world. Yes, oh yes, these beauties made my day. I’m starting with my favorite in the bunch, the sheath dress with the encrusted neckline. Elegant, just elegant!

It practically makes my day whenever we discover a new designer here at B&B. Yup, this is the first time Jesus Peiro designs will grace our Fashion Fridays. Honestly, it took me quite a while to choose what styles to actually feature since ALL of them are gorgeous. Loving how the little elements like the ribbons, applique and embroidery are manipulated in such a unique way, almost structural (but feminine) in nature. Another thing I am particularly swooning over are the necklines–definitely a breath of fresh air from the typical strapless tops. Anyway, you just have to see for yourself! Clean lines, romantic silhouettes and soft details make these beauties drool-worthy.

I actually got to spend two weeks in one of my most favorite places in the world. In two days I head back home and I simply can’t wait to write again.

I love springtime in San Francisco (will be writing about my little vacation when I get back)! I loved being here and being inspired. And I am even more thrilled to write about something that all of you will love as well.

I visited David’s Bridal to take a closer look at the White Collection by Vera Wang. Since a lot of you have been so curious about it, I decided to take a field trip and take some photos–I even got to try out a gown! I particularly fell in love with the pink number, but I’d say there were a lot of pretty styles as well. Thanks Victoria and Soroneda of David’s Bridal for helping me out.
