The Bright and the Blissful

Posted by Janna Simpao

It’s always such a treat when the work of Cherryblocks comes our way. And here at B&B, we pretty much wake up to mornings filled with gorgeous details and an aroma of love–is this the best job, or what? There is something quite classic yet vibrantly fun about Ed and Leah’s wedding. I have to give a two thumbs up for this dapper couple! The groom’s tux by Jayson Cruz and the bride’s blissfully elegant dress by Ivory and White, was just oozing with elegance. And just to add a little of the-girls-just-wanna-have-fun-spirit, Leah opted for a fun magenta pair to walk in. But it doesn’t stop there. The bright-colored bouquets set against the nude hue of the entourage dresses was the perfect contrast that created a laid back and easy feel, which is probably my most favorite style element for this affair. A great mixture of muted and bright tones made our day!

Happy Beginnings

Weddings are all about celebrating togetherness, love, and people! I truly enjoy seeing weddings that are laid-back and intimate, and show elements of what the couple enjoy together. JP and Loni’s special day is a picture of lighthearted merriment with pretty bouquets, a beautiful lace-sleeved gown, groomsmen in suits and boxers, and a ferris wheel. Doesn’t it just sound like a day to remember? I’m pretty sure it was for all those present!

Catch a glimpse of the fun and festivities with this set from Cherryblocks.

If you can’t seem to shrug off that sleepiness and your mind is still wondering where the weekend has gone… well, you’re probably not alone. Let me help you kick off your Monday with something that will surely get you a bit more inspired to conquer the day. Taewoo and Diana’s regal rendezvous is worthy of welcoming our week here in B&B. With deep purples and reds to enhance the royal vibe, this celebration is going to draw some attention to the hopeless romantics out there (ok, I’m one of them)! Count on Nelwin Uy to produce breathtaking shots–I simply can’t get over how pretty everything is. Hello lovely Monday, we’re ready for you!

Fusions and Forevers

Because we simply must start this week with vibrance, I decided that the perfect colors to usher in the days ahead are red, orange, purple and gold. Bogey and Denise’s Indian-inspired-with-a-hint-of-hipster wedding is all about colorful culture and unconventional details. Yup, this is proof that you can mix new details with old traditions. Here’s to fusions and forevers!

Cheers to Chicness!

There are days when I just spend hours researching for beautiful weddings simply because I want to. And on some days I get pretty lucky and see just what I’m looking for. And to add a cherry on top of the sundae, the bride tells me that she has actually been going to B&B for pre and post-wedding inspiration. I love how some weddings are just so g-g-gorgeous. Yes, sometimes I find myself just lost in all the beauty that weddings exude. Ken and Isa’s is just my kind of thing. I so love their entourage’s laid  back and effortlessly chic look.
