This Couple Chose to Celebrate With Only 20 Guests Even Before the Pandemic Happened!

The magic and beauty of a wedding isn’t in the flowers or fancy decorations, but in the shared warmth and happiness among the couple and their most loved ones. It’s easy to get lost in the glitz and glamour of weddings—that is until you are lucky enough to come across a charming, no-frills wedding like Dre and Tin’s and you fall in love with the intimacy of it. The couple invited 20 of their nearest and dearest dressed in dusty blues, and their genuine familiarity and shared joy radiated throughout their special day. Taking the family involvement a step further, Tin’s dainty dress was sewn by her mother, while Dre’s dashing suit was sewn by her father. We are all for this heart-warming gift of support from the bride’s parents!

To all the couples who are still unsure how to enhance their intimate celebrations, remember that there is an undeniable beauty in how nothing can tear apart two people who want to be together more than anything else. For more inspiration, scroll through Bria Cardenas‘ photos, which effortlessly captured the two families celebrating and revelling in true love and nothing more, nothing less.

7 Love and Life Lessons I Learned From Watching K-dramas

Staying home and having more time in our hands may have turned many of us into pseudo Koreans. Our binge watching of K-drama has completely convinced us to try out as many Korean dishes as possible, to talk like Koreans, and to even follow their skin care routine! I never thought I would be a part of the fandom that has taken the world by storm, but after giving in to the Crash Landing on You hype, I was hooked and down the rabbit hole I went. I’d like to think I picked up a few things from the stories that caught my eye (and my heart!) and I’m sharing some of those lessons with you below. I’m sure that you have your favorite K-drama lines as well. Share it with us in the comment section below! Arraseo?

Buzzer Beater Wedding: This Couple Was the Last to Get Married in Batanes before the Lockdown

Von and Rachel were in the last flight that flew to Batanes before the island and the entire Metro Manila officially announced the community quarantine. They carefully planned their dream destination wedding for more than a year but because of the pandemic, they had to cut it short, not only their trip but also their guest list. From an original headcount of 70, it went down to just 15 guests. They were also supposed to spend at least 3 days in the island to do their engagement shoot and to get married but because of the announcement, they had no choice but to do both in a day.

Thankfully, they had kind and accommodating suppliers who were more than willing to help them pull their dream wedding off. It’s true when they say that true love conquers all, these exquisite shots from Brilliant Bum Photography can prove that! Soon-to-wed couples, let this be a reminder that even with a major change in your plans, your special day will still be breathtaking as long as you have the love of your life by your side.

This Couple’s Plan B Wedding Looked So Chic, Modern, and Romantic!

Prince and Jean have always envisioned exchanging vows in St Benedict Church in Nuvali, and having their reception in Antonio’s Tagaytay. But a month before their special day, the untimely eruption of Taal Volcano happened. This urged the couple to adjust their plans and to move their Tagaytay dream wedding to Manila. As they searched for church and reception alternatives, they stumbled upon St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish and Blackbird at the Nielson Tower in Makati. The interior elements of these venues brought a sense of elegance to their wedding. The high-ceiling, striking architecture and industrial windows balanced the color hues and minimal accents that the couple chose. The simple styling also allowed bride Jean to standout in her exquisite Teena Sabrina Tan dress, giving their wedding an overall ethereal, modern and romantic feel.

They may not have tied the knot in Tagaytay as planned, but their Manila wedding gave them an emotion-filled and unforgettable day that they will surely treasure forever. Scroll down to see the photos taken by Ralph Lee Photography.
