This Couple Served Filipino Street Food and Had a Drive-Thru Reception in U.P. Diliman

Who would have thought that isaw and tokneneng would look fancy when skilfully plated on a vibrant rustic tablescape? Arjanmar and Khaye managed to pull it off for their wedding, which was set in an open-air spot in the U.P. Diliman campus. Instead of fearing the “New Normal,” this couple chose to adapt and get creative with the safety protocols they put in place. Stylish masks were worn throughout the day, loved ones were connected virtually, and other guests expressed their well wishes via the reception’s drive-thru set-up. This wedding is sure to continue making headlines as a source of hope and inspiration for couples planning weddings during the pandemic. Be prepared to take down notes as you scroll through photos by Mediarama Creatives and spot the unique details from Arjanmar and Khaye’s special day!

This Couple Made their Intimate Wedding Highly Meaningful and Detailed!

Even though the pews weren’t full of guests, Jason and Mica still made sure to dress up the Church beautifully for their intimate wedding, complete with a floral arc, aisle decor, and wooden signs with verses from a beloved Bible passage. Their reception venue is special, too, because it’s the restaurant where Jason and Mica had their first anniversary date back in 2013. This restaurant happens to feature love locks where you can write your special date and symbolize locking your love forever. Jason and Mica had a love lock seven years ago, which they were able to locate again on their wedding day. They added a new one but this time as husband and wife! Another detail worth highlighting is their wedding rings. Jason and Mica had their wedding rings designed with the figure of a camera’s aperture blades to signify their passion for photography and their commitment to one another. All these details truly show how this couple intended to make their wedding, though smaller in scale, special and grand in its own simple way!

There are more things to love about Jason and Mica’s wedding. So, I hope you’ll find a lot of inspiration from these photos by the couple’s best man and photography mentor, Lex Alinsod.
