He sent us these photos of Dick and Sharon’s big day and it makes us feel like we’re in a candy store with the prettiest treat within reach. We don’t know what to revel in first–Cecilio Abad‘s crazy beautiful bridal gown creation or Gideon Hermosa‘s whimsical event styling decor? Gaaah, talk about putting a whole bundle of fun in this fantastic affair, and frankly we adore it! And don’t forget to check out the on-site video by Treehouse Story below! Wishing you the best of luck trying to control yourselves from getting dizzy with today’s dose of wedding fun and delectable details, but as for us we’ve totally given in.

Sun Rays and Happy Days

Posted by Janna Simpao

What a happy day we have ahead of us! We know how much you love the charming and colorful, so here at B&B, we try to give you inspiration that will make your hearts flutter with delight. Thanks to photographer Nez Cruz, we can gush over Erick and Glady’s beautiful bash. With sugary summer tones of yellow, pink, and green, this wedding will not fail to put anyone in a good mood (the bouquet alone is enough to make me do my happy dance)! And if were talking whimsical chic, Glady’s gown by Zandra Lim is just that! Wooden table numbers, lamps and flowers, and a whole lot of pretty styling by K. by Cunanan make this detailicious affair our Tuesday eye-candy.

Polished Perfection

Posted by Janna Simpao

We’re kicking off our Monday with something very style savvy. JR and Karen’s elegant affair is just the thing we expect Metrophoto to cover perfectly. Karen was simply stunning in her Joe San Antonio gown, and her bridesmaids’ dresses complimented her contemporary look with neutral colors that exuded timeless sophistication. Of course, we are also loving that the groom opted for a modern gray suit that was all sleek and suave. But to cap off this gorgeous celebration, we find ourselves simply smitten by the reception styling of Zenas Pineda. Yes siree, the flowers and decor were nothing short of ahhmazing! So go ahead, stay a while to see something stunning.

Sending out some love and inspiration to everyone today!

The Grandest Glance

Posted by Janna Simpao

Since it’s been raining cats and dogs for hours now, I thought we might want to start the week with a bright and sunny set by Mark Cantalejo. We totally adore these photos because it shows how the Philippine wedding culture is certainly evolving. I mean, we still pretty much love traditions but we also jump at the idea of non-comforming practices. Today’s dashing sweethearts, Miguel and Pia, decided to see each other in private, before the ceremony. That first look was certainly well worth it. Pia looked divine in that dress! Plus, imagine seeing your reception area without the busy crowd–such a treat right? Although not many would gravitate to this practice, to some, that first glance can be one of the grandest they’ll experience in this lifetime.

Red and the Romantics

Posted by Janna Simpao

It’s going to be a ravishingly romantic day for you and me. Florist and stylist Gideon Hermosa of Events Studio has always had the tendency of leaving us with our jaws dropped and our hearts amazed. Carlo and Irene’s regal red and teal affair is pure perfection. We adore the gorgeous dresses and are blown away by the reception decor. (Sorta has a Snow White vibe because of the red apples don’t you think?) But we wouldn’t be able to enjoy all these if it weren’t for the magic hands of Jeff and Lisa Photography–such awe-inspiring photos! And if you wanna experience the wedding even further, we’re adding the charming and spunky video by Ian Cruz Films for you to enjoy!

You bet it’s gonna be a ravishingly romantic Thursday!

Enchanting Elegance

Oh, happy day! The first post of the week means our first dose of wedding goodness, and these delightful photos are from photographer Randolf Evan. Marwin and Iriss’ pleasingly exquisite affair is wedding eye candy that will leave us smitten and in the mood for love! I simply adore the elegant gray hues of the bridesmaid dresses. As for the lovely bride, her red satin pumps are the perfect regal touch to her beautiful Rosa Clara gown. Stunning sophistication will surely envelop our Monday.

Ballerina Belle

Posted by Janna Simpao

As some of you know, I spent the weekend here in Cebu to support my husband in his Ironman 70.3 race. And because I am enjoying this lovely place, I think it’s apt that I feature one of the local gems of Cebu, photographer Mark Cantalejo. I wanted to write about the ballerina-themed shoot he did for blogger Kryz Uy because I think it is such a a good inspiration idea for a ballet-themed wedding or bridal shoot. Even future brides can use this as an inspiration for their bridal entourage style! It’s just too pretty to pass. So for this lovely morning, we leave you with this ballerina belle.

Celebrity Wedding: Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes On-site Video

Posted by Janna Simpao

I am at a loss for words. Even as I have already watched the wedding video of Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes for the fifth time, I still feel butterflies in my stomach and an overwhelming outpour of joy in my heart. Not because these two are famous Philippine celebrities, or the fact that Mayad videos have a way of making you feel you are part of the story, or even the undeniable fact that Maricar was a breathtaking vision in that embellished masterpiece by Francis Libiran (although it is officially in my list of top 3 wedding gowns of the year!). Yes, these things played a big part in making this wedding beautiful, very beautiful in fact. But the thing the wows me the most is their love story. A testimony of chivalry, selflessness, and honor–Richard Poon, you’re the man! A love story written and orchestrated by God, a story of redeeming and unconditional love. Sealed with a first kiss that begins forever.

I am at a loss for words… and frankly, I don’t mind it.
