Posted by Janna Simpao

We love unguarded moments. We love silly sweetness. And when we got to feast our eyes on these photos by Jeff and Lisa Photography, we immediately fell in love with Jon and Rachel. A wedding exuding youthful energy and unpretentious emotions, this affair makes us believe in young love. With a classic charm enveloping the whole affair we know that this will be a good Thursday for us all. Oh yeah, those are pretty awesome shoes, Rachel! Happy browsing people!

Seafoam Sophistication

Posted by Janna Simpao

There is something so calming about the ocean, something so beautiful about the the sea. And once in a while, we come across a wedding that perfectly reflects the unassuming sophistication a beach affair can bring. Anthony and Marta’s Boracay wedding photographed by Jaja Samaniego is pure bliss. The pearls and orchid bouquet scream understated elegance, while the decor of starfish, shells, seahorses, and the prettiest hues of seafoam and aqua are all about the casual chic. A gorgeous couple, a fun-loving bunch of family and friends (they practically D.I.Y.’d everything with the bride and groom), and the perfect seashore is one combination we will never ever say no to.

Fashion Friday: Marchesa Fall 2014

Posted by Janna Simpao

Rich hues, extravagant designs, and luxurious silhouettes make up our Fashion Friday post for today. As usual Marchesa didn’t fail in putting their stamp on evening wear. You’ll see how the drapes are so gorgeous and the fabrics very exquisite. Would really love to see more luxe hues like these in weddings, but for now, I’ll be enjoying the Marchesa Fall 2014 collection to bits.

Glowing Gracefulness

Posted by Janna Simpao

In the hundreds of weddings we’ve written about, there will always be something uniquely beautiful about each one. And no matter how many photographs and videos come our way, it seems like each wedding will still make our hearts flutter with delight. The details, the emotion, the captured moments of love and affection–these are the things that make us grab tissue paper often and float in clouds of happy. Today is no different! The pastels in Joe and Sharon’s big day are just way to pretty to ignore. And oh that bouquet… it’s g-g-gorgeous! You can count on Chestknots Studios to make your morning extra sweet with this bundle of lovely.

We launched The Great Indoors shoot marathon last week. And we’re totally excited because we’re getting a lot of registrants already. So today, we decided to have another teaser of what to expect for this project we are doing with Teamba Designs. As we mentioned, there will be six major themes for this event. And just as promised, they will be out-of-this-world creative. Take a look at the inspiration where all of this will be built from–we’re pretty sure that it will be a shoot marathon like nothing you’ve ever seen.

To register for The Great Indoors, go to this page and follow the instructions. See you there!

Storybook Sweetiepies

Posted by Janna Simpao

Confession! We’ve been itching to see more color lately. Don’t get me wrong, pastels will always be close to our hearts, but there is just something refreshingly youthful about vibrant colors. And for Romar and Valine’s engagement shoot, they went and did something crazier by allowing Teamba Designs to create such an elaborate (and spunky) pop-up styled book set up inspired by the couple’s favorite films, while the Blacktie Project clicked away to capture the most endearing moments.

We can so imagine this type of coolness for the upcoming The Great Indoors shoot marathon. But for now, here’s a little something to tickle your colored fancy.

Summer is fast approaching and all these beach weddings are certainly making us dream of the sea and sand. Omar and Kyaw’s colorful celebration is one that will remind you just how awesome it really is to celebrate under the sun. With a boatful of playful details and vibrant hues that are too delightful to ignore, we knew we had to post these photos by Mark Cantalejo! Kyaw looked radiant in all her dresses (even the pink one she used for getting ready is totally gorgeous). And with the setting sun ushering them to their new life together, these two had the best day of their lives no doubt!
