I can’t breathe! That’s my usual reaction to beautiful things… and well, we all know Vania Romoff creates beautiful things. I am ecstatic that she finally launched a bridal collection this year (been dying for it to come out!), and let’s just say we were not disappointed. Even the flower girl dresses were to die for! Sleek lines, romantic and classic silhouettes, timeless fabrics–these gowns are every elegant bride’s dream come true. Enough talking, it’s time to swoon!

Celebrity Wedding: Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson

Posted by Janna Simpao

Many brides want to do that “all white” theme. Guess what? Solange Knowles totally nailed the look and might as well be awarded the All White (or should I say Ivory/Cream) Wedding of the Year Award. Celebrity Singer Solange weds video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans and Rog Walker captured the most amazing portraits of this special day!

But for our bride readers, we all know that all eyes are focused on Solange’s wedding ensembles. The dress she wore as she took portraits with her girls (which was an off-white cape gown by Humberto Leon for Kenzo) was indeed a winner, but she just had to up the ante and wear a caped ivory-toned jumpsuit ensemble by Stephane Rolland as well. GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS!!! Not just that. The groom and the entourage also rock their attire! We give the white suit and the bridesmaid’s mixed-matched dresses two thumbs up!

So Solange and Alan, thank you for educating us all today on how it should be done! You’ve practically made wedding history today with this awesome look!

See more photos and full details of their wedding in Vogue.

Burgundy Beautiful

Posted by Janna Simpao

Deep red is one of the most amazing colors out there, but truth be told, it is one of the most difficult palettes to execute for a wedding. The perfect hue, the perfect balance, and the perfect amount plays a tremendous role in making sure that despite its bold and strong shade, it still exudes softness, romance, and elegance. It’s rare to chance upon weddings who get this color beautifully right. So imagine us jumping for joy when we received this wedding from the brilliant Therese Jacinto Design, event stylist and florist of Shardul and Stephanie’s romantic red fête. The drop-dead exquisite floral decor and amazing table setting says it all. The discreet fusion of the couple’s Indian and Filipino roots were cleverly placed, resulting to simple chicness. And yes, I am totally swooning over the tasteful hues of burgundy, maroon, and gold. I’ve been familiar with Therese’s work for a couple of years now–she’s a Filipina based in San Francisco, and her taste is nothing short of impeccable! The best thing about her approach is that she tries to really work within a budget. So for our readers in the U.S., you must definitely consider working with this lady!

Photographer Rizza San Agustin also captured the moments into everlasting elegance (I love her work too)! This wedding will definitely be in our minds for a long, long time!

Desert Dreaminess

Posted by Janna Simpao

Today’s wedding is definitely something you don’t see everyday. But my, oh my, we guarantee that this will leave you swooning like crazy! Emil and Celisse tied the knot showing a different side of Las Vegas. With gold and orange popping against the neutral tones of the dessert, this whole affair is the perfect example of sprinkling glam to the drab. Pat Dy does his magic again by capturing the most inspiring and romantic snaps of this love story. We are in love!
