There are times you come across a gown collection that will make you just sit down, stare, and sigh your way to la la land. The Monique Lhuillier Fall 2015 collection is giving us butterflies in our stomachs, just each collection before it had. No wonder ML is one of the most popular names brides wear. Welcome to a Friday willed with the most beautiful of beautiful!
Deep red is one of the most amazing colors out there, but truth be told, it is one of the most difficult palettes to execute for a wedding. The perfect hue, the perfect balance, and the perfect amount plays a tremendous role in making sure that despite its bold and strong shade, it still exudes softness, romance, and elegance. It’s rare to chance upon weddings who get this color beautifully right. So imagine us jumping for joy when we received this wedding from the brilliant Therese Jacinto Design, event stylist and florist of Shardul and Stephanie’s romantic red fête. The drop-dead exquisite floral decor and amazing table setting says it all. The discreet fusion of the couple’s Indian and Filipino roots were cleverly placed, resulting to simple chicness. And yes, I am totally swooning over the tasteful hues of burgundy, maroon, and gold. I’ve been familiar with Therese’s work for a couple of years now–she’s a Filipina based in San Francisco, and her taste is nothing short of impeccable! The best thing about her approach is that she tries to really work within a budget. So for our readers in the U.S., you must definitely consider working with this lady!
Photographer Rizza San Agustin also captured the moments into everlasting elegance (I love her work too)! This wedding will definitely be in our minds for a long, long time!
Today’s wedding is definitely something you don’t see everyday. But my, oh my, we guarantee that this will leave you swooning like crazy! Emil and Celisse tied the knot showing a different side of Las Vegas. With gold and orange popping against the neutral tones of the dessert, this whole affair is the perfect example of sprinkling glam to the drab. Pat Dy does his magic again by capturing the most inspiring and romantic snaps of this love story. We are in love!
Bring out the piña coladas because it’s time to kick back and enjoy this tropical retro pre-wedding shoot brought to us by the fun styling folks from RabbitHole Creatives and captured wonderfully by Cherryblocks. Philip and Kristine seem to be lovers stranded in an all-glammed up island, and we are not complaining! Sometimes all you need is a good romance and a bit of spunk to get you in the mood for love! Cheers to happy moments!
There is something about Peter and Marisse’s wedding that gives us butterflies in our stomach. This affair captured by We Do It For Love feels like home. It exudes a sincere and unassuming vibe of love and romance, as well as the couple’s charming and adorable sense of humor. For one, we totally love the attire of the bride and groom. Then there are those ridiculously amazing details–the invitations, the cake… and that oh-so-pretty ring! Everything about this wedding screams delicate beauty and undeniable simplicity. So scroll down and enjoy this wonderful little thing.
Another sunshine-filled celebration makes it to our pages, and it is lavender lovely! Mark Cantalejo captured the beauty of Mike and Hilary’s day and we’re glad we can share it with all of you. With pops of aqua blue here and there, this affair is both charming and undeniably delightful. Oh, and we love the idea of the floral robes for the bride and her bridesmaids. Cheers to some Wednesday inspiration!
Cebu in the Philippines has always been a popular destination for weddings. I mean, how could you say no to the sun, sand, and all the breathtaking things in between. As usual, Rock Paper Scissors gives us something to swoon over this morning. Jubert and Muriel’s wedding has classic romance written all over it. And I can’t even begin to say how the bride looked utterly enchanting in the Monique Lhuillier gown. We also pretty much fell in love with the reception styling–a white tent with gorgeous chandeliers always make a perfect fit. Go ahead, see what we’re taking about!
It seems that the Amal by Krikor Jabotian Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection has a common effect on most people. Swooning, daydreaming, and having a strong desire to wear or even just see one piece in real life are some of the symptoms that you’ve actually fallen in love with this designer and his breathtaking masterpieces. If you adored the previous collection we posted a few weeks ago, then you will simply be smitten over our Fashion Friday post today. This collection definitely deserves a standing ovation. Bravo!
It was such an awesome privilege for us to have a room filled with undeniable talent. What was once a dream is now a reality–the first ever Bride and Breakfast Editorial Fest is one of the most memorable events we’ve ever done. We posted the gorgeous photos and video of the Elopement Editorial (a must-see!) a few days back, and today we just can’t help but share with you what was going on behind the scenes.
We do editorials to show our readers inspiration they can use for their own wedding, as well as showcase the talent that can actually get the job done. Whether you are planning to elope, or have a grand wedding as your choice, we wholeheartedly recommend the vendors who carefully planned and executed this editorial with us. We loved how each one was professional and gave their 101%, and it amazes me how much beauty surrounded us.
Here’s the behind-the-scenes video made by Ian Cruz Films. We utterly had the time of our lives.
Again, we would like to thank all the suppliers and sponsors who made this elopement editorial possible:
