Adoring Delicate Daintiness

Today’s post is a little different because I won’t do much of the talking. When I saw Chi and Nix’ wedding, I instantly fell in love with it (I mean, look at that exquisite gown, right?)! The story of how B&B became a part of this beautiful wedding just leaves me speechless.

From the Bride:

It was at Bride and Breakfast that I found not only my photographer Randolf Evan (who is now one of my favorite people in the world), but also pegs for my bridal gown, and where I realized the magic of Antonio’s, that eventually became our wedding venue. But more than that, it was here that I discovered, and was assured of the kind of wedding I really wanted to have. How many times I recall going back to the particular B&B post, Thoughts on Philippine Weddings. I almost felt as if it was a friend supportively saying that “It’s alright to go against the current”, that it can be nice to have the reception at brunch, that it’s not the end of the world if you don’t have a prenup photo slideshow, that what’s important is to “live the moment”; and to really, truly, LIVE the first day of your life together.

So thank you, Bride and Breakfast. Because even before our Do It Yourself with Love wedding became a product of the labor and love of our family and friends, it was already, first, inspired by you. And really, thank you, for what you do everyday! You have not only been inspiring, but also liberating.
